Just a great interview (in video)! Though I disagree with his perspective on stereotypes about Aboriginal peoples (I do think that they exist and are consistently reinforced), he was honest, funny and also made a pitch for DerRic Starlight, Sarcee puppeteer and ventriloquist (from Tsuu T’ina First Nation in Alberta). Thanks for the DerRic Starlight info.! Have you ever seen him perform? I can totally see him doing something in the Aboriginal Reading in the Round space at WPL’s Millenium… ideas, ideas.
I have never seen him perform, but have been aware of him for several years now. I imagine that he’d be really good.
