      • Hello! Thanks for visiting the green libraries page! I did a search for the williamsbridge library and could not find anything. Is the library that you’re referring to perhaps the Bronx Library listed above? Thank you for your compliment as well! Happy blogging!

    2. Hello! I thought you’d like to know that the Portsmouth Public Library in New Hampshire has received LEED certification:

    3. Hello Catherine. Thank you for bringing this information to my attention. I’ve added Portsmouth Public Library to the list.

    4. Hi-
I was wondering if any of the libraries listed were existing buildings that made changes to become LEED certified?

      • Hi Renee. I’m not sure if any of the libraries were already existing and were retrofitted to achieve LEED certification. Off the top of my head, I think that most of these buildings were new. I’d invite you to check through the various links – they might provide greater clarity. Thanks!

    5. Hi,

Thanks for this list! I’m actually working on a class project right now that involves plotting green libraries on a map, and this is a great resource.

I also wanted to mention that the Fayetteville Library is actually in Arkansas.

    7. Hi,

Thanks for including the Clifton Park-Halfmoon Public Library in your list of Green libraries. I just want to let you know that the page that you are linking to no longer exists. The link should be http://www.cphlibrary.org/about/greenbuilding.shtml. Thanks!

    8. Excellent, what a blog it is! This website provides useful information to us, keep it up.
