New article: Literacy skills of off-reserve First Nations and Métis in urban Manitoba and Saskatchewan

A new Statistics Canada article, published in Education Matters, was released yesterday. Entitled “Literacy profile of off-reserve First Nations and Métis people living in urban Manitoba and Saskatchewan: Results from the International Adult Literacy and Skills Survey 2003“, the article presents

“a broad portrait of the literacy proficiency of two very specific segments of the Aboriginal population in Canada, namely the off-reserve First Nations and Métis adult populations living in urban parts of Manitoba and Saskatchewan.”
